PROTECTING AMERICA FROM A BAD DEAL: President Donald J. Trump is terminating the United States’ participation in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with Iran and re-imposing sanctions lifted under the deal.

  • President Trump is terminating United States participation in the JCPOA, as it failed to protect America’s national security interests.
  • The JCPOA enriched the Iranian regime and enabled its malign behavior, while at best delaying its ability to pursue nuclear weapons and allowing it to preserve nuclear research and development.
  • The President has directed his Administration to immediately begin the process of re-imposing sanctions related to the JCPOA.
  • The re-imposed sanctions will target critical sectors of Iran’s economy, such as its energy, petrochemical, and financial sectors.
    • Those doing business in Iran will be provided a period of time to allow them to wind down operations in or business involving Iran.
  • Those who fail to wind down such activities with Iran by the end of the period will risk severe consequences.
  • United States withdrawal from the JCPOA will pressure the Iranian regime to alter its course of malign activities and ensure that Iranian bad acts are no longer rewarded.  As a result, both Iran and its regional proxies will be put on notice.  As importantly, this step will help ensure global funds stop flowing towards illicit terrorist and nuclear activities.

IRAN’S BAD FAITH AND BAD ACTIONS: Iran negotiated the JCPOA in bad faith, and the deal gave the Iranian regime too much in exchange for too little.

  • Intelligence recently released by Israel provides compelling details about Iran’s past secret efforts to develop nuclear weapons, which it lied about for years.
    • The intelligence further demonstrates that the Iranian regime did not come clean about its nuclear weapons activity, and that it entered the JCPOA in bad faith.
  • The JCPOA failed to deal with the threat of Iran’s missile program and did not include a strong enough mechanism for inspections and verification.
  • The JCPOA foolishly gave the Iranian regime a windfall of cash and access to the international financial system for trade and investment.
    • Instead of using the money from the JCPOA to support the Iranian people at home, the regime has instead funded a military buildup and continues to fund its terrorist proxies, such as Hizballah and Hamas.
    • Iran violated the laws and regulations of European countries to counterfeit the currency of its neighbor, Yemen, to support the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force’s destabilizing activities.

ADDRESSING IRANIAN AGGRESSION: President Trump is committed to ensuring Iran has no possible path to a nuclear weapon and is addressing the threats posed by the regime’s malign activities.

  • President Trump will work to assemble a broad coalition of nations to deny Iran all paths to a nuclear weapon and to counter the totality of the regime’s malign activities.
    • Nations must work together to halt the Iranian regime’s destabilizing drive for regional hegemony.
      • In Syria, the Iranian regime supports the Assad regime and is complicit in Assad’s atrocities against the Syrian people.
      • In Yemen, the regime has escalated the conflict and used the Houthis as a proxy to attack other nations.
      • In Iraq, Iran’s IRGC sponsors Shia militant groups and terrorists.
      • In Lebanon, the Iranian regime enables Hizballah to play a highly destabilizing role and to build an arsenal of weapons that threatens the region.
    • The Administration’s actions are directed against the malign behavior of the Iranian regime, not against the Iranian people, who are the regime’s longest-suffering victims.
  • President Trump is making clear that, in addition to never developing a nuclear weapon, the Iranian regime must:
    • Never have an ICBM, cease developing any nuclear-capable missiles, and stop proliferating ballistic missiles to others.
    • Cease its support for terrorists, extremists, and regional proxies, such as Hizballah, Hamas, the Taliban, and al-Qa’ida.
    • End its publicly declared quest to destroy Israel.
    • Stop its threats to freedom of navigation, especially in the Persian Gulf and Red Sea.
    • Cease escalating the Yemen conflict and destabilizing the region by proliferating weapons to the Houthis.
    • End its cyber-attacks against the United States and our allies, including Israel.
    • Stop its grievous human rights abuses, shown most recently in the regime’s crackdown against widespread protests by Iranian citizens.
    • Stop its unjust detention of foreigners, including United States citizens.

Trump. One of the very few who keep their promises. I am thrilled to have a president who represents this country and who puts our interests before the others, particularly t hose who are Muslim extremists. He will be re elected with overwhelming numbers because the American people value real leaders and do not value left wing extremists like Hillary Clinton and all of her followers.

Just as a reality check,. be reminded that all these activities that Trump is intending to curtail were going on unabated and unreported and unopposed by the previous administration. a fact that should give on pause as to the motivations of that administration and its obligation to protect American interests which is its primary job.

I pray nearly every day for our President and Vice President that the Holy Spirit send them strength and courage and wisdom to do what is right in the eyes of God, our country and our people. I also pray for everyone else in government to put aside their personal feelings and try to work together for the common good which again, is our people and our country. God bless all those who pray for this. Our Father is watching over us. God bless you all.

I can “Get IT ‘ that Something Must be done >>Immediately… to deter Iran from Any further” actions for Acquiring ”the Bomb’. What that Deterrent is…I cannot Say. Only those
minds’ directly In THE KNOW Can possibly Figure out What The Best Directions ARE..to be made.. ..I Have Believed that Perhaps a “Balanced ”nuclear Power would Work For Every Nation.. And That is Something the Middle Eastern Nations Do not have.. IT IS Really Wrong.. that Israel IS the Main instigator OF that Area of The World, AND Is always Picking Battles with All of its` ”neighbors ..( Who are, for obvious reasons, Far weaker Than ISitreal. ) And That ISITREAL has always Expected the American People to ‘back them up in Whatever Fight They Decide to Pick. …and to fight it for them..) AND Our President Seems to Think THAT is THE RIGHT THING TO DO ! SO, WHY ? Is What I Want ., a Clear , Workable Answer to asking too much ? B.Netty is NOT Looking for PEACE..Anywhere. All HE and HIS Cohorts Want is.. World Domination…And THEY KNOW they cannot DO Anything..Without The Backing And the Military Might of This USA.. Behind Them.. ‘and Supporting Them’. It is a Fallacy To Believe There is Even One Grain of Sense In that POT that Will work Well.. for ANY ONE of US..OR our ? Allies . Just is NOT in the CARDS. Wake up, President Trump. WE did NOT Elect YOU to be OUR Leader.. But not TO BE ONE Who Is Always Supporting Illegal Battles All over the Universe..Just FOR this Crazy B.Netty. It has to END. Tell B. Netty to “”Open up his Nuclear Arsenal To The EYES of The Entire World.. AND THEN>>Destroy Every Smitchin of IT>>Once And Forever.. I Do Believe that Every Other Country Would be MORE than Ready to STOP Their Efforts For Nuclear power, AS Well. After all, They Have Had to Pursue This “”END”” For their OWN Protection..FOR Many YEARS now..Knowing Isitreal is Steadily Going on With Their Own “Buildup.” T HINK How MUCH Better off THIS World Would BE… If Every Country Would THEN>>Join in With Such a Great Step forward..Towards PEACE..And NOT Having to Prepare, constantly..FOR A WAR They see Looming ON their Horizon,,Aimed AT Them..Should THEY Appear WEAK and Unprepared For Defense.!! A World OF Peace Can be HAD..BUT It has to be Without The STEADY Building up of Nuclear Power..in Isreal. Am I Right..OR Am I WRONG ?? Big Power does not Begat..PEACE.. IT Only Causes the WEAK TO Focus Even more on Building up its` own muscles in order to protect ITSELF against Aggression… Shall I GO ON ?? Answer. President Trump…Cut ISITREAL Lose And Tell b. Netty to Desist in All the Turmoil and Angst IT IS Constantly >>Stirring UP..FOR All Nations.. Stop IT NOW. BE OUR LEADER..OUR President. And not B.Nettys` flunky.

Dream on. There is so much more to it. Israel was God’s chosen people from the beginning and yes they certainly made their share of mistakes but what you are accusing them off is really ludicrous. We have a president who is not afraid to act and act in time to make us safe and great again – yes GREAT! Over the years we have fallen quite a ways from a first world country into nearly a second world or third world. We need to come back up and I belief our President is on his way to doing just that and praying to God, the Father for His help.

Can they explain how pictures that predate the Iran agreement are being used for ‘proof’ of Iran breaking the deal?

Pulling out was the only way to go. Simply look at the behavior of some of the main participants at he meeting. They burned our flag and said things like death to America. Is this how civilized people behave at a summit meeting in front of the world? They showed their true inclinations when push came to shove. They are not seeking peace; the truth is not in them. They said that the deal was not to be changed. When they couldn’t get their surreptitious way, they resorted to their true barbarous character by burning the other participant’s flag. And all this in front of the world!
This is all that the world needed to see to realize how untrustworthy the leader of Iran is. This is how dangerous it when dealing with a snake in the grass. If President Trump had supported Iran, we all would have walked into a fatal trap. Now the leader of Iran knows that not everyone is meek enough and stupid enough to fall for his barbarous schemes.
Kudos for our President Trump at having the perceptiveness to see this before we all go down.

I do not recall reading about or seeing any of the main participants at the meeting saying “Death ot America” or burning our flag. Besides the United States and Iran, the other countries that signed and support the agreement are Great Britain, France, Germany, Russia, and China. I believe I have, over time, seen citizens of all the forementioned countries, including the United States, burn our flag. This is legally protected as Freedom of Speech, although I personally find it deplorable. I do not like the current regime in Iran, but they have kept the agreement. Saudi Arabia has a very old rivalry with Iran and I remember Israel several times invading and occupying large portions of Lebanon. I believe that Natanyahu wants Iran neutralized because their support of Hezbollah in Lebanon impedes Israel from pressuring their neighbor. The agreement was about ending the Iranian program of enriching uranium, but our leaving the agreement has more to do with neighborhood rivalries and power. The aggrement was working but our leaving the agreement makes things even more unbalanced in the mid-east. You mentioned the oil crisis of the 1970’s. It will be interesting to see what, if any effect our leaving the agreement has on the oil market, probably nothing since the oil companies now have Iraq. I look forward to reading the Trump administraitions “perfect” agreement that will set all things right. I am an independant and not much of an ideologue. I am more interested in fixing problems than power games and name calling

It was the best decision. The money released to IRAN, (and we really don’t know just how much) was money we were holding and how much was “donated” above that. What it did was provide IRAN with more capital to pursue their intentions. The fact that IRAN would not allow inspectors open doors to insure they were complying with the agreement was enough to dump the deal up front. France, Germany, and the U K had best take a GOOD look at this and get on board. Their stand on immigration was enough to get them in trouble before.

After all that is happening in the Middle East and in Asia, is their any doubt that the Obama administration is pure and total Communism. Obama was raised as a communist by communist parents and is loyal to the Marxist’s Doctrines. You really have to be stupid if you can’t see through Obama’s rationale. He would have destroyed the USA if Hillary was elected president. Thank God for president Trump. President Trump and his administration will be overwhelmingly re-elected to their office in order to KEEP AMERICA GREAT. Sincerely, Martin Korab

Just remember World War 11 and how a very small country was very successful in conquering many countries—America missed the signals that were so apparent before Pearl Harbour— and it caused great devastation to the world and the world families—We are to learn from history. Yes, I was a prisoner of war in China by the Japanese for 4 years–but when China was crying out for help after World War 11 to keep their country from Communism–a deaf ear and a blind eye and a back was turned to them–so we have what we have today. a Communist country–Support our president and most of all pray for God’s wisdom for him and for his enemies of the swamp to be defeated.
