President Trump Backs Grassley Immigration Bill In Senate

President Trump issued the following statement of support today for Chairman Grassley’s immigration bill, which was just published and is based on the White House Framework. In seeking responsible immigration reform, the President urged senators to vote for the Grassley bill and to oppose any legislation that violates the Framework’s “four pillars,” and that thus fails to deliver safety, security, and prosperity to the American People:
I want to thank Chairman Grassley for introducing legislation based on the White House Immigration Reform and Border Security Framework. The Grassley bill accomplishes the four pillars of the White House Framework: a lasting solution on DACA, ending chain migration, cancelling the visa lottery, and securing the border through building the wall and closing legal loopholes. I am asking all senators, in both parties, to support the Grassley bill and to oppose any legislation that fails to fulfill these four pillars – that includes opposing any short-term “Band-Aid” approach. The overwhelming majority of American voters support a plan that fulfills the Framework’s four pillars, which move us towards the safe, modern, and lawful immigration system our people deserve.
At the same time, I remain encouraged by developments in the House toward advancing legislation from Chairmen Goodlatte and McCaul that also enshrines our four pillars.
Now that our military is fully funded, and will be rebuilt stronger than ever before, my focus is on enacting responsible and commonsense immigration reform that delivers for the American People.

Because the majority of DACA recepiente are not children who have attended school in the United States ( elementary through 12th grade) I totally oppose Grassley’s Bill. Need some tough restrictions as to who qualifies for amnesty and pathway to citiznship. If a DACA recepint has only been in country for less than 5 years and is over the age 22, should not qalify.

USA citizens do not want amnesty in any form for illegal invaders or their brats. We want enforcement of existing laws, E-verify for all jobs, welfare, housing, schools, daycare, and medical. We want mass deportations! We were promised the wall in 1986 it is time it gets built. NO AMNESTY! NO DACA!
I am tired of paying for illegals, from the womb to the tumb. Am a RN who works in labor and deliver. 90% of births are from illegals that can’t even speak English. (Anchor babies). They get mad if nurses can’t speak Spanish. God forbid if you say anything because will fire you. They don’t pay taxes but as heck get all welfare housing, food stamps and medical free and all milk, cereal, cheese, and formula free besides food stamps.
Seniors can’t get food stamps. I like Missouri laws Another thing, their male partners stand on Home Depot corner and are picked up by Americans who want cheap labor. They then avoid paying taxes. I don’t understand why California senators and House rep’s (Dem) uphold illegals. Of course the money for all this comes out of the middle class working citizens.

Reasonable and rational. If this bill cannot be past with large majorities, the recalcerant parties will hear us at election time.
Just ke any state, any country has borders , what we common citizens want is control of of the citizens from violence, watching illegals and crimes. Any single president of different their tenure protect law and order to have a peaceful life for the citizens.

The words- ‘A solution to the DACA problem’- lets everyone define the ‘solution’ the way they want, but the Congress will INSIST on knowing the DEFINITIONS OF THE SOLUTION. Everyone agrees that a solution is needed, BUT NOT WHAT THAT SOLUTION IS!!!

I find myself thanking God each day for this President. For the first time in my lifetime, I feel I am genuinely represented. May God bless and prosper this President’s life and his work on behalf of the American people.
If illegal aliens are merely “undocumented workers” — as the liberals say, then are burglars not merely “uninvited houseguests” ????? And if a burglar is accompanied by his child when he is apprehended, does it logically become the obligation of the homeowner to shelter and feed and educate that child? If the homeowner does so, that’s commendable, but does any such moral imperative exist? I think not. Dear Donald: Drive a hard bargain with these liberals with their fevered minds.
In determining any DACA eligibility we should immediately remove any chance of citizenship for anyone with a felony conviction regardless of the nature of the offense. Ignorance of the law doesn’t hold water for citizens and certainly shouldn’t work in favor for those here illegally through no fault of their own. Comply with immigration requirements or be deported. Secondly anyone who is receiving more than 20% of their total means by virtue of public assistance should not be eligible.
I can think of a few more requirements that would never pass the PC litmus so I will hold them in reserve.

The proposed legislation to resolve the DACA issue is dubbed the “SECURE AND SUCCEED ACT” as per speech made by Senator Cotton on the Senate Floor on Monday.
THE ENTIRE EFFORT IS FUTILE.
THE LEGISLATION SHOULD BE TITLED “TREASON BY TRAITORS ACT”. That is what it is because all, atleast the majority of the legislators are changing their call sign from LAW MAKERS TO LAW BREAKERS through aiding and abetting the LAW breaking ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT’s interest over those of the CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY that they puppet to represent. The funny part is they are not ASHAMED of it but rather PROUD of it the way they are jostling to make their best case for acceptance by other LAW BREAKERS (both SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN) to appease people who rightfully should not be in the United States and in fact should be DEPORTED. This is very essential unless we as a country are willing to move our NATIONAL CAPITAL FROM WASHINGTON TO MEXICO CITY DURING THIS CENTURY AND BECOME THE BIGGEST HISPANIC COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.
THE LAWMAJERS MUST RESOLVE TO ENSURE THE PRESENCE OF OUR ESTEENED FIRST LADY, MELANIA TRUMP, IN BOTH CHAMBERS WHEN A ROLL XALL VOTE IS TAKEN. This is esential to ENSURE verification of the fact that lawmakers have become LAW BREAKERS. A YES VOTE will be considered valid when the LAW MAKERS SLAP MELANIA IN THE FACE. A NO VOTE will be considered valid when the LAW MAKERS just walk past her without recognizing her presence. THE FIRST LADY WILL BE SYMBOLICALLY REPRESENTING ALL LEGAL IMMIGRANTS WHO WENT THROUGH THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS OF THE LEGAL PROCESS TO BECOME PERMANENT RESIDENTS AND THEN CITIZENS.
The proposed action on DACA is a SLAP IN THE FACE of all LEGAL immigrants.
Instead of granting GREEN CARDS to the DACA REGISTERED 800,000 ILLEGALS they should be given a YELLOW CARD upon them producing a PASSPORT from their country of origin. NONE OF THESE YELLOW CARDS SHOULD BE ELIGIBLE FOR CITIZENSHIP TILL SUCH TIME AS ALL THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE FILED THEIR PAPERWORK FOR A VISA TO ENTER THE UNITED STATES HAVE BEEN GRANTED A VISA AND HAVE ACQUIRED CITIZENSHIP. The other one million DACA ELIGIBLE who were lazy enough to not even register under the illegal DACA program should be treated as any other ILLEGALS.
A permanent INELIGIBILITY should be established, for the PARENTS OF DACA REGISTERED AND ELIGIBLE ILLEGAL IMMUGRANTS, for GRANT of a VISA TO ENTER THE UNITED STATES IN ANY FORM OR FASHION, as PENANCE FOR VIOLATING OUR SOVEREIGNTY, and THEY SHOULD BE ON A HIGH PRIORITY LIST FOR DEPORTATION. AREN’T they the ones who have compounded the problem. AT BEST THEY WOULD BE SECOND ON THE PRIORITY LIST FOR DEPIRTATION AFTER THE VIOLENT CRIMINALS, AND THOSE OTHERS WHO HAVE COMMITTED OTHER CRIMES.
SINCE THE LAW MAKING LAW BREAKERS TOUT THE COMPASDIONATE NATURE OF THE UNITED STATES IN CODDLING THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, THEY SHOULD PROVE THEIR SINCERETY TO THEIR HEART’S CONTENT BY AUTHORIZING THE SAME NUMBER OF WOULD BE DACA ELIGIBLE CHILDREN. FROM EACH OF THE FOUR CONTINENTS – THE CITIZENS OF WHICH CANNOT WALK ACROSS THE BORDER AT WILL AND MAKE MOCKERY OF THE MOST POWERFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD AND THROUGH DEFIANCE THEREAFTER – AS SHOWN BY PUBLIC DEMONSTRATION AND MARCHES TO FLAUNT IN THE FACE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL – IMPLY THAT WE ARE THE WIMPIEST NATION IN THE WORLD WITHOUT COURAGE, SELF RESPECT, AND THE WILL TO BE A NATION OF LAWS. THESE FOUR CONTINENTS WOULD BE AFRICA, ASIA, AUSTRALIA AND EUROPE, unless the LAW breaking lawmakers deem it essential to provide equal opportunity to people from all COUNTRIES equally to be DREAMERS IN the same number as the HIGHEST CONTRIBUTING COUNTRY OF DACA ELIGIBLE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS BEING GRANTED AMNESTY IN THE PROPOSED LEGISLATION. After all we are compassionate, do not want to be accused by any one of being discriminatory, and are firm believers in affording EQUAL OPPORTUNITY to all without consideration of RACE, COLOR, CREED, RELIGION, SEXUAL ORIENTATION. COUNTRY OF ORIGIN, EDUCATED/UNEDUCATED, LITERATE/ILLITERATE, MENSA MEMBER/MENTALLY CHALLENGED, or whatever you can think of. The only immigration bill that would be good for America is one that Deports ALL illegals from the country and stops ALL future immigration. DACA is an illegal executive order created by Hussein Obama to bypass the legislative branch of the federal government. Instead of all of the current (and continuing) smoke and mirrors of the globalist left, what we really need is for ALL illegals to be deported regardless of how they came to the U.S. and if any wish to return, apply through the proper format for legal immigration. But then, we also need to repeal the 1965 immigration act which raised the legal quota from 250,000 per year to one million per year and vastly lowered the standards for admittance to the U.S.

So called “chain migration” has been used many times in our country by our president and members of the republican party in the past. MANY OF US are here because somewhere in our history, family members helped others to come here. This is not a good idea. Neither is all that money spent on a wall . Work permits for DACA with no path to citizenship is the only way we, the American people can be happy with an immigration bill. It must include elimination of visa lottery, limits to chain migration, merit based immigration, border security including the wall where necessary and e-verify. Please do not fold to Democratic demands of ignoring our laws.

As much as it is problematic to legalize those who come here illegally, it will have to be done. Build the wall, implement e-verify and then provide citizenship to those here in 10 years when the wall is completed.
No automatic citizenship for illegal aliens. Let them do the due process all others had to do if they really want to become citizens of USA. They & their families have already enjoyed a free ride on the American Citizen’s back. Show us how badly you want to become an American.
